Fitness kickboxing may be a new kid around the fitness block but its parent sport - kickboxing-has deep roots in Thailand.

It's an equipment-based exercise program with the most common being heavy bags and training pads. Kickboxing sessions are usually held in a fitness training center or perhaps a commercial gym the location where the necessary training equipment may be used.

Recently, we experienced another tragic event: a mass stabbing at a Pittsburg-area high school. Just one week prior it absolutely was yet another mass shooting at Fort Hood. And before that the long line of devastating and preventable tragedies of the kind that are seemingly becoming more common by the day.
